Cufon Fonts by Leagues of Moveable Squirrels
I wrote about Cufón (without the flash bang wollop) previously, since then I've deployed the font replacement technique on a handful of websites.
I'm still hugely impressed by how quick Cufón can be added to a website design, taking it's style lead from the CSS in a simple logical manner.
(The title will make sense in a minute, I promise...!)
I've now found that the majority of Cufón time is simply spent finding suitable fonts for use - and then trying to figure out if the font license will allow usage. (Tip: it probably won't.)
Here are a couple of links for websites to keep an eye on, with a couple of individual fonts that I really like. It's always a good eye to subscribe to their RSS feeds.
The League of Moveable Type

The League of Moveable Type has a small yet high-quality list of fonts that are released under the Open Source license allowing them to be used/embedded online. I particularly like Junction (pictured) and Chunk.
Font Squirrel
Font Squirrel is a growing list of fonts that are "100% free for Commercial Use" although I'd recommend double-checking the license for indivdual fonts regarding embedding. I quite like Quicksand and Gentium Basic.
I'm sure this list will increase over time as Cufón, SIFR or @font-face become more standard.
I'm interested in new font-replacement techniques such as Typekit, but they all have their good points, or not so good ones.
