Website Design: Garnock Valley FM
Garnock Valley FM is a Community Radio Station for the towns of Beith, Dalry, Kilbirnie and surrounding areas.
The volunteers required a website that could be easily updated with local information and station news. The main aims of the website were to attract new volunteers and keep local people informed about the station.
On-Air
During broadcasts, the website is designed to keep listeners informed about the programmes and presenters while encouraging them to gain further information from the health and community interviews that take place every day.
The website features a Content Management System which allows volunteers to login and update various parts of the website including a comment-enabled blog. Third-party services are also intergrated into the website including photographs from Flickr, Social Networking accounts and short text updates from Twitter. These services also drive traffic to the main website.
Printed Promotional Material
Alongside the website, subduedmedia designed promotion items including mouse-mats, car stickers, large car magnets, fridge magnets and large display banners. (Printing kudos to Robert at Chameleon Graphics in Kilwinning.)
